Tony Ng Chit Keong is a modern and contemporary artist with an exceptional eye for details. He is a realist who paints exquisitely detailed batiks in vivid colours.

He learned oil painting from one of the Malay teachers during his secondary school years, who gave him the chance to experience the charm of oil painting. Through him, Tony also developed a strong enthusiasm for realistic painting techniques. He furthered his study in fine arts after having graduated from secondary school. Tony Ng graduated from the Kuala Lumpur College of Arts (KLCA). He learned some basic art knowledge as well as painting techniques and successfully entered into the world of art.

For the past 14 years, he has participated in over 20 exhibitions. His first solo ‘The Beauty of Faith’ was held at the Art Square Gallery, Kuala Lumpur in 2015. Tony’s oil and acrylic paintings of batik are usually paired with natural subjects such as fruits, plants, leaves and grass against the background of a kampong house or rural scenery. His growing popularity now boasts prominent collectors such as Mandarin Oriental, Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) and Aaron Barnett (Singapore)
