Dr. S CHANTHIRAN

Born in Seremban, 1957, Dr S Chanthiran is a renowned artist in Malaysia. True artist as he is, he had been in the art scene since 1978. Since then, his exploration of subjects for his works varies from myth to realistic human potraits. Dr S Chanthiran draws his inspiration from deep rooted, the ancient Indian architecture and culture, where characters symbols, motifs, and moods are often resurrected from the yore and depicted in art form with vibrating colours and at times in deep dark hues and crafting with artists brush stroke detailing.
