Started drawing when he was 7 years old when he attended simple art classes in Global Art. He attended courses in Watercolor and Oil Painting at Malaysian Institute of Art, Kuala Lumpur. At the Students’ Display Exhibition, all 6 of his paintings were purchased by a seminar organizer to be souvenirs for the speakers.

He won 2 prizes at Genting’s 50 Wondrous Years Art Competition in October 2015 valued at RM4000. In 2016, he attended a 9-month mentorship program at Universiti Malaya which was sponsored by Maybank and Universiti Malaya. In July 2016, Anthony’s paintings were acquired by the Museum of Special Art in Washington D.C. as its permanent collection. To date, Anthony has participated in over 20 art bazaars and exhibitions as an artist with autistic features.

Anthony’s innate aptitude for art is inherited from his maternal grandmother, the late Yong Liu Keow who was an art and Chinese language teacher whose father was the late Yong Mun Sen, a renowned artist.
